1. Gather materials: glass ornaments, little items that represent your toddler, two pictures of your little one, scissors, glue, ribbon, paint pen, and any other decorations (sequence, glitter, pom-poms etc) that you would like to use.
Some items that we chose for my kids were a fishing lore, a fish, Christmas lights, a princess (that ended up not fitting into the ornament), ballet shoes, a tiny diaper, a baby, and a little dress among other things.
2. Cut out the two pictures into the shape of circles. Both circles should be the same size and slightly smaller than the width of the ornament. Glue the pictures together and let the glue dry completely.
3. Take the top off of the ornament. Roll up the glued pictures and stuff them into the ornament. You may need to use a tweezers to unravel and straighten the picture once inside of the glass ball.
4. Have your toddler stuff all of the other items into the glass ornament. For an extra touch, they can add other decorations such as glitter sequence or pom-poms (if you use glitter be sure to only add a little bit!)
5. Put the lid back on, write your toddler's name and the year with a paint pen on the outside of the ornament and tie a bow around the lid using ribbon.
6. Hang from your Christmas tree!

This is such a wonderful idea to remember where our kids are at each Christmas! I'm going to see if I can get some things together in time to make one on Friday. Thank you so much!
