This corn activity goes great with Teach Your Tot's vegetable theme, or if you are looking for some Thanksgiving activities to do with your little one!
*Draw two ovals, one on white paper and one on green construction paper.
*Cut out the green oval and have your toddler glue the bottom 1/3 onto the white oval.
*You or your toddler can cut about 3 or 4 slits in the green oval (stop at the glue...don't go all the way to the bottom of the oval).
*Your toddler can roll each slit around a pencil
*Your toddler can dab a Q-tip in yellow paint and then onto the white oval, to make corn.
Here is the final product!
This would be great as a follow up activity after reading books about corn or about what the Pilgrims and Indians ate at the first Thanksgiving!
