Sandpaper Letters

Some of you probably have seen sandpaper letters before. They are great for muscle memory. Children can trace each sandpaper letter with their finger while saying the name and/or sound of the each letter. These are very simple to make and fun to use!

1. Trace each letter onto sandpaper (I simply used letter stencils for these).
2. Cut out each letter.
3. Glue to a piece of construction paper or other heavy paper.
(I also added an extra piece of blue paper behind each one...this is option)
4. Punch a hole in the corner of each letter card (using a hole punch). Be sure to line up each hole.
5. Use a metal ring to hold them all together.
